Just wanted to let you know that you and your loving family are in my thoughts and prayers. It's such a hard journey we are traveling, so not natural to lose our child. We have another son, his name is Dustyn, and we always call him Dusty, just as you do your precious son. Your Dusty has such a beautiful smile. Bet you can't wait to see his precious smile again, when you are re-united with him? Only another parent who has lost a child really understands what pain it is, and what heartache. May God give you comfort, strength, and peace in the coming years.

Dear Nancy,

Your Dustin has forever touched my heart. The gathering in Lake Lure was a time I will never forget. Thanks so much for all the hard work you put into making it so special.  I feel we all share a bond that will never be broken. It was a weekend of remembrance and inspiration and gave me hope for the future without my beloved Brandi. I put Dustin's rock on Brandi's headstone. I'd like to think they have met in Heaven and are looking down on us and smiling!!
